Such a great year! Here are a few of my favorite moments!
Traveling all over- Miami for New Years, New York City, Nashville (twice), Orlando for the hair show, Las Vegas for my birthday, Milwaukee for work, Chicago and Savannah!
Also the fun adventures in Disney! And meeting a few celebs! Like Ginny Goodwin at Disney! Also Nick Jonas, Bam Margera and holding FLAVA Flav up in the air in an inflatable boat in Vegas!
I'm gonna miss you 2012!!

Bye 2012
Well the point of this blog was to share about my life via hair or clothes and fashion and my travels but I kinda failed. So I'm going to start again as one of my many New Years resolution! My main one being more organized at work, and not over sleeping and laying in my bed forever also eating more healthy and active like every other person. Lets see how that goes!
So tonight I started to clean my spare room and I put all my purchases of my week there. I bought tons of great stuff! So many deals, I'm beyond excited!
I got a few goodies at Sephora, A Mickey Mouse shirt and red slippers at Urban Outfiiters, a pink beanie at H&M, an air freshner, jewelry, floral pants at XXI, a dress, calendar, a wallet from Cotton On and the funnest game ever Hedbanz!

A Christmas in Savannah
This Christmas my family and I decided to go to Savannah for Christmas! Actually we came back Christmas Eve but nonetheless we celebrated Christmas the whole time!
Once we arrived we check in at a lovely hotel downtown, we had dinner at a Cuban restaurant then walked around downtown then went back to our hotel to rest up for our Holly Jolly Trolley tour!! I highly recommend it! It's for all ages and its so much fun!! You ride a trolley and sing Christmas carols and take a tour of the Davenport house and go to one of the most gorgeous hotels and get hot cocoa and look at gingerbread houses!! Then you go look at lights and its so awesome!!
The next day I got woken up really early thank to my grandma and mom, had breakfast then we got some candies at river street then looked around neighborhoods and went inside the most gorgeous cathedral! We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant since it was Christmas Eve lots of places were really busy and I was bummed out we couldn't eat at Paula Deens restaurant :(

I realized as I read other favorite blogs I enjoy I forgot to actually update mine from my trip to Nashville which was like 3 weeks ago! I also haven't even been near a computer much to relax or enjoy it because currently I'm not even home but in Milwaukee for work. It's Halloween I'm in my hotel room and realized October is almost done in 15 minutes and I'm completely drained.
The day before I left for Nashville my district leader asked me if I would be interested to be an educator! I jumped up and down in the back room of my salon and said yes!! Ideally that was my goal for my 30s... The opportunity came and I took it! It maybe 5 years early but things happen for a reason! I would have never said no.
I went to Nashville the next day super excited and realized that would probably be my last true vacation for awhile and when I came back home from Nashville I had a week and a half to prepare for yet another trip with my clients and staff...
I've learned so much being here and I'm so happy where I am career wise and the amazing people I've watched on hair DVDs I can now colleagues and friends now. The best part I met the Vice President Creative Director of Regis. Literally you can't go higher than him in the company. As soon as he left I told Mary Gail Hall that I want his job... New goal set.
Make goals and accomplish them and don't set yourself up for failure. Start off small and the end result will end up being HUGE!

Nashville
Since I got back from Vegas everything has been madness. My parents were both in Mexico, my sisters and I were both taking care of their house and the dog. Then after work, 2 hectic meetings and being plain exhausted my sisters grandmother (from her fathers side) passed, so she had to fly to Puerto Rico asap and I was stuck with even MORE work and MORE stress. Everything worked it self out, I went through it all and family is forever number one in my book...
Anyways, I'm sitting in my office/spare bedroom that is completely empty that I have yet to finish remodelling... I have been crazy busy as usual and haven't even been in this room in about a week ha but here I am, listening to music on shuffle and ignoring the fact that I'm driving to Nashville to be in one of my best friends wedding and that I should start to pack. I leave Wednesday morning and I'm driving... This should be quite interesting!
Here is an old photo from 05' and I can't wait to reunite with all these lovely ladies!

Back to the point of Nashville, one of my favorite cities...I think NYC is defiantly my favorite and then maybe Chicago then Nashville. So maybe my third. Whatever. My friend Gabby and I have been friends for about 10 years now which is crazy. Actually I have been very close to her and her sisters and her family in general. One time my parents left town during Thanksgiving and I spent it with Gabby and her family and it was the best ever and they were so welcoming and not to mention I had never really experienced an authentic American turkey day. The way we met is kinda embarrassing and maybe another day I will share the story, but it began with music.
I love music so much! All types and yes ill throw in the "except country". I don't really care for it too much, sue me Taylor Swift. Nashville is known for country music obviously, but it also has so many different music scenes its kinda a shame that country over powers it. Kings of Leon anybody? Anyways, Ive been to so many diverse shows, shoot I just went and saw Snoop Dogg this past weekend who is one of my favorites! Along with 2 chainz and kreayshawn and rita ora and machine gun kelly haha! Nashville always has the best shows come thru I must admit! So much I was very close to moving but realized I needed more cosmetology hours in the state of TN. :[ It was always Gabby and I's dream to move in together and away from Florida. Sadly I didn't make it, and she all by her lonesome moved away from her friends and family and did it. Ive always admired that about her and she met the greatest guy ever and shes is marrying him, and I could not be more happier for her.
I cant complain I am very glad I stayed home near my parents, worked on our relationship that my teenage years ruined and well I must say I have done very well for myself. I'm just glad Gabby still lives in Nashville and I can still visit my 3rd favorite state, and be apart of her super duper special day!
(I just got teary eyed thinkin of our friendship, I'm going to be a mess on Friday! sheesh)

Birthday in Vegas!
This past weekend I flew to Vegas to celebrate my 25th birthday! Time truly flies and I can't even fathom the fact that I'm an adult?!
We got there on Friday and the first thing we did after we took a cab to the hotel we stayed at (Palace Station) we went shopping and went to TopShop! I'm obsessed with that store and I wish we had one here but anytime I go to NYC that's my first stop! Then we walked down the strip ate lunch at Grimaldi's looked at a lot of the hotels, then that same night went to see Chippendales!!! Yes I know it's super cheesy and lame but ever since I was young I've been fascinated and always wanted to see them! We bought the cheapest tickets and ended up getting a VIP booth then moved to center stage in the 2nd row! It ruled so hard! Then after we went to Caesars Palace to go to Pure and had tickets to get in but we left them at our table at the chippendales! So mad but we were exhausted and went to bed!
The next day we slept in, ate brunch at the hotels buffet, laid out by the pool then went to the strip again and walked all the way to the famous Stratosphere! It was hot we walked forever but didn't even care we were gonna ride the crazy roller coasters! The view was insane and the rides were indescribable! One literally was a claw that spun around the side of the building! I thought I was going to die! Then after we got a huge margaritas and went back to TopShop and decided to go see Steve Aoki and Lil Jon dj at the Encore! We went to the hotel, took a disco nap and headed to Encore! Omg the place was gorgeous! It was where prince Harry went cray cray and I can see why ha then when Steve Aoki started to dj'ing after lots of champagne showers, everyone dancing and having a great time FLAVA Flav comes out! It was awesome! Steve Aoki had an inflatable boat and crowd surfed on it and FLAVA Flav flew over our heads on a boat haha
Then on Sunday we were exhausted from the night before so we walked around the strip, took a trolley and went to Mandalay Bay and went to this pool party! It was so amazing and beautiful and gorgeous!! Then we went to New York New York and rode the roller coaster! That one was not so much fun, the line took FOREVER the seat was so uncomfortable on the ride I wanted it to be over and it wasn't worth the price! Then after we went to get sushi and it wasn't very good which was kinda sad but whatever we then went to relax in the hotel and got ready for the PARTY BUS! My birthday was on Monday and to ring it in club hopping on a bus was the best bday ever!!! Started off at the Hard Rock and I met Jeffrey from the Glass House who was my fav on the show! Went dancing at Vanity, had champagne and danced and then the bus was so much fun everyone was dancing and drinking cocktails! Then we went to planet Hollywood and danced at the pussycat dolls saloon and had so much fun dancing on the stage! Then more bus fun then ended it at Caesars Palace and tried to go to Pure AGAIN and they were closing! :( so we ended the night there.
On Moday, I woke up super hungover and threw up but it's ok it was my birthday and I was in VEGAS! We checked out of our hotel and walked to In n Out! We don't have them in FL and was sad they didn't have any vegetarian options lol and literally had 3 things haha then we took the shuttle to the mall and walked down the strip into pretty much every major hotel for about 8 hours straight! It was nuts we were dead from walking but our plane didn't leave till 11pm! Haha we did stop at Caesars Palace again and dipped our achey feet in the pool and relaxed and had dinner at Serendipity and it was so cute!!! Then we did one last stop at TopShop and flew back home!
Vegas was incredible and adventurous I saw things I've never seen or ever done! It looks so different in person than tv and there really wasn't a bunch of drunk people all over like I imagined! Just had a few European men stop us and take pictures and kept trying to make us hang out with them but it was more entertaining than creepy and scary!
Here are a few random photos! I have sooo many I'm def not postin them all! I'm also super jet lagged and exhausted from all the walking and time difference with our late departure and super early arrival. We left monday night 11:45 pm Vegas time had a connecting flight and arrived to TPA at 10:45 Tuesday! So crazy!

Stressful September
I love September because well its my birthday month! I also am a lucky gal because I have alot of close friends that share September birthdays as well so it's just fun fun fun! I'm also super duper excited to be heading to Vegas to celebrate my 25th bday!
The only negative which isn't a major negative is that I tend to always take time off work in September! I started my job in September in 2007! Which I cant even believe how time flies but since its my anniversary time, thats when I get vacation pay! So I'm usually slammed at work taking in as many clients as I can, trying to prep my house and organize, packing and hanging out with all my friends and family and having fun in general and soaking it all in!
Here are a few photos from this months adventures thus far! I went to a 20's themed birthday party, my friend James was in town, one of my best friends finally turned 21, soaking in the sun with mimosas, margaritas, dancing the night away with girlfriends and
my favorite accessories of the moment!!
