Labor day sales

Today while at work I ran into a few department stores!

I went to JcPenney and while I was looking for shoes for a wedding I ran into this wooden like floral print shoe for $7!!!! I had to buy them and they were just my size so it was destiny!!

Then I went to Macy's and got these amazing Steve Madden shoes that I've been eyeing forever and they were marked down to $22!

Then I went to Dillard's and was shocked they had a huge shoe sale too! Bought floral Gianni Binni shoes for $17!!!

One of my best friends sent this to me and told them it reminded them of me.

I've read this over and over again and I know it's really lame and cheesy but I seriously relate so much! I had a crazy relationship a year ago and I've tried to become a stronger woman because of it. I've become so self dependent and so self reliant, I honestly don't think I can find love again or even want it ever again. If what I experienced was love and dear lord I hope not, I think. I might go insane! 

My mom always told me I never wanted her to teach me anything when I was little because she wasn't a teacher. I've always been a stubborn brat. I've also been ambitious and I've always been so frugal with my money. I would save my allowance and if my sister wanted to borrow a couple of dollars I would charge her interest! I was about 10! I've always had goals, and so far I've made a ton of them. On my own.

I'm just glad I live in today's society where women can work and be the head of the house hold. I know now I'm single and hopefully my mind will change but I'd rather be forever alone then completely miserable depending on a partner and do whatever the fuck I want, when I want.

This month is flying by and the next thing I know my most favorite month is here! I love September mainly because it's my birthday and I do lots of fun stuff all month long to celebrate! As I get older I don't think it will be too much fun anymore! I'm already complaining about turning 25 :/

This year I plan on a get away to Vegas with a close girlfriend and I'm so excited!!!! Also I'm going to see Jennifer Lopez in concert and I'm going to die of happiness! I just love her! I also get time off from work and hopefully the weather cools! :) and who doesn't love all the September issues!? I constantly check the mail waiting for the new Vogue to arrive! Also Glamour was really really good this year!!

In preparation for my birthday here are a few of my favorite things!

Roomie Style

I usually tend to get dressed up for anything and everything! I just love clothes so much and I feel like you can set your mood and feeling with the way you dress! I'm very fortunate that my roommate also shares the same love for clothes and fashion as I do!

I love living in Florida but when I go to Chicago or New York City people put effort in what they are wearing! Here it's like shorts and flip flops to nice restaurants it drives me crazy!!! If only I was a magical fairy that can dress people up or at least help them!

Anyway, here are outfits from this past Saturday! Were both equally obsessed with our spiked black shoes!!

Pizza Party

The past couple of Monday's I've had my friends come over for dinner. Last Monday we had make your own pizza! It was super delicious and everyone made an individual one and then we made a big one for everyone! My friends brought mini cupcakes and brownies, then we played UNO and a round of twister! It's alway super fun and I just love having my friends come over to hang out!

Sadly this past week didn't happen because classes started again for a few and some were busy with other things... Next week I hope we get together!! We wanna make pitas next time around!

I feel like the next couple of months are going to be super busy and I'm excited because it will be fun busy not stressed out and tons of work busy! This past work week was absolutely crazy! Our computer broke and everything was super stressful and I had to manually add 3 full work days back into the computer, then back to school kids were awful! A kid literally growled and kept punching his mom and then on Saturday a lady ran into our OPI and knocked down around $500 worth of nail polish that spilt and splattered all over! So yeah I'm defiantly in need of a vacation!

My closet is constantly a mess due to me changing a thousand times before going out to work or a night out on the town! As I was doing my usual cleaning and organizing I found a couple of things I've purchased this past week!

This past week has been so freaking busy I'm surprised I didn't pass out from pure exhaustion! I had a work meeting, I renewed my cosmetology license, renewed my tags for my car, signed up for my passport... That was just in one day! Not to mention I also went to Tampa and met with my best friend and roommate for shopping and went to work that day... It seemed like everyday was just as jammed pack!

In the midst of everything I did try to have fun! Monday I made Mexican food for some of my friends! A few others didn't make it due to a crazy storm... We had fun tho played a few games, watched bad girls club and laughed a whole lot! Also I went out Tuesday night and Friday had a roomie date and Saturday had sushi with my friends and went out to my usual Saturday hang out!

I'm going to try to save every single penny from now on and save up for lots of upcoming trips and adventures! I'm going to see how that goes...working in a mall is so hard! I need to find free and fun things to do!!

August heat

This summer hasn't been as hot as previous ones, still summer in Florida is awful!!! I've been keeping busy by stayin inside as much as I can and wearing cool clothes and lots of SPF!

Last week a sun spot or something appeared on my hand. I thought that maybe it was hair color from work but it wont come off and I've done everything to try to get it off and its not! It's super scary and I hope it fades on its own and goes away... I keep staring at it and putting a million of things on it!

Oh well, here are a few pictures! Nothing major is going on right now except the usual shenanigans I usually do. Today I'm making a Mexican meal for my friends and I'll blog about it! Also mittens has been driving me nuts and is getting into anything and everything!
