Fashion High

Maybe it's all the coverage from this years Fashion week... The clothes, shoes, hair, makeup, the glamour of everything really made miss my blog. Or maybe the fall weather and all the September  issues I have been reading I don't even know but here I am AGAINNN. I don't even have the time for much due to my job but at least I'm going to try again for a hobby! 

Every since I was little I've loved clothes and shoes and it didn't help having an older sister and my mother use me as a doll and dress me up all the time. So I will probably posts pictures of fashion finds and outfits and stuff just for fun. :) I'm fortunate to work in the beauty industry already as a hairstylist and don't even get me started on makeup! 

I'm going to NYC in a few weeks for my birthday, which is probably my favorite place on earth and I've already planned all my outfits in my head for my trip. I'm a great packer and can pack for a long weekend in about 5 minutes due to traveling a lot ha. I really can't wait to go to all my favorite places and SOHO and see my friends and I'm also going with my parents and my dad has never been and I've been DYING to take him. I feel like he's meeting my boyfriend for the first time or something I'm so nervous and excited to show him my love, Manhattan. 

Ok so I guess I should post a picture or something and stop writing ridiculous paragraphs that make no sense. 

I've been eyeing these shoes for forever and they went on sale for $45 and I was so happy I wanted to kiss and hug the cashier at Dillard's and thank her for making my life. I didn't but I was very close.

Sunday funday

Sundays are technically my Saturdays and spring is my favorite and I just enjoy sun bathing and hanging out with my friends and enjoying the sun before it is intolerable outside!

Next weekend ill be in NYC and I can't wait! I haven't been since march of last year and the city is calling my name! I can't wait to go to soho and go shopping and being with one of my best friends!!

Dapper Day

Last year I went to an unofficial Disney event called Dapper Day. You are supposed to dress dapper and fancy and roam the park and have meet ups with other dapper friends and do fun activities at the parks! It was a great time, and I'm super excited to go tomorrow! Dapper day is two times a year and goes on at Disneyland and Disney World!

Last year I wasn't that fancy and I have no idea what I'm gonna wear tomorrow... But either way its freaking Disney World and I am obsessed with it! I even have a Minnie Mouse cupcake tattoo! Talking about tattoos I'm finally getting zapped Tuesday and its been a long time coming for me. I take a couple of years to make sure of exactly what I want since well they are so permanent and even though I'm 25 I'm still scared of my parents.

Working 6 days a week and going out at least 4 times during the week has made my mind into mush. I can't stay home and be bored, I always have to be doing something! And also the fact valentines day is soon I gotta keep distracted with the painful truth I am single, have no interest in not one boy right now and my first Valentines in my whole life without my gramps.

Here is my outfit for tonight... I have a messy as hell closet a party to go too and go out for cocktails downtown then wake up early for a fashion show tomorrow our salon is participating in!

Flower power

I'm blogging from work right now because my client didn't show up and I had some time to kill.

This week has been completely exhausting I felt like I was gonna pass out a few times. I had training on my day off and had to come to work and do some inventory so that was a 12 hour day, them taught a 6 hour class and worked the rest of the night so another 12 hour day... Needless to say lots of extra hours add up and I am so looking forward to this weekend.

It's one of my best friends birthday celebration extravaganza haha and we will be staying on the beach tonight and I can't wait!!!

Here is an outfit I wore the other day to my cousins birthday dinner/party. I haven't done much shopping this week only a couple of new skirts and a shirt for work and I got really cute boots at target last night and a floral skirt. I love flowers. With a last name Flores it's kinda hard not too...

Wicked

Last week I had the fabulous opportunity to see Wicked! I have never seen it before and I absolutely loved it! I really want to see the Wizard of Oz again now haha but I am very excited that Disney kinda made a new version! I will defiantly be seeing Oz!

The play was quite longer than I thought but the story, humor and music was perfection!

After the play we went an celebrated my cousins birthday with cake and cocktails it was truly a magical and lovely evening!

Constant occurrence

This happens at least once a week. I buy lots of stuff during the week and end up with a huge mess in my closet. Which isn't really a closet more like a boutique by now. I bought my house when I was 23 and always knew I wanted to convert a room into a closet and its been the best thing ever! It's basically my pride and joy but lots of maintenance to keep up with due to my shopping habits.

This weeks purchases include and not all pictured: Zara robot dress, a floral high low dress, floral print peplum dress, a lovely peach blouse and Chloe perfume and a lovely ring . I also got a few things at Victoria Secrets semi annual, 2 cute tops at Charlotte Russe.

I also found a pair Michael Kors shoes for super cheap at Nordstrom rack, a half size too big but I don't care for TWENTY DOLLARS I could not leave them!! And they fit pretty good!

Work has been keeping me very occupied, currently working 6 days a week so my fun life is taking a little break! I did manage to go with my girlfriends this week to the circus and we were in my cousins suite! It was perfect! I'm also going to see wicked tomorrow and I am very excited!!

NYE

Last New Years I spent it in Miami and had the most amazing New Years EVER. This year was obviously alot lower key since I had work today, but either way it was lovely.

I am most defiantly a VERY girly girl. To the point where it even annoys me sometimes because I freak out over anything stupid. Don't even get me started on cockroaches... 

So New Years eve I ran errands, cleaned, did groceries and what not, just so I could start the year fresh and prepared. Which I'm very glad I did today, because now I am so bored and I don't have an excuse to go to Target. Anyways, I allowed myself a few hours to get ready for the night. I had one of my girlfriends come over to get ready with me, while we listened to music and drank a bottle of champagne! It was great, then our other friend came over and drove to our friends apartment for a little get together on her roof top to catch the fireworks downtown.

I must say, I have a great group of friends and I was so happy to spend NYE with a few of them!

We had yummy sweets, lots and lots of champagne and vodka and sparkelers to celebrate the night!
